Light and airy, Lovely in Lynn Valley exemplifies a dreamy home with features that pop! The home renovation was completed in North Vancouver. The main purpose for Lovely in Lynn Valley was to create an open area as the clients were a young and growing family. Furthermore, the original kitchen was dated and had inefficient storage. Beyond Beige used materials like classic white quartz, natural brass globe pendant lights and a custom matte shiplap wood fan to create a calming environment. Beyond Beige Interior Design vastly improved the storage by having cabinetry that went to the ceiling. The team was planning on removing the drywalled beam separating the kitchen and living room area, however the budget did not allow. Beyond Beige opted to have a structural element clad in natural wood to create the idea that the beam was a design feature. Creating contrast and adding dimension to the kitchen, a modern matte black kitchen faucet was paired with a white apron front sink. The island is painted in a deep-sea blue color for impact. The clients wanted to be as environmentally conscientious as possible, so the materials were selected locally. Overall, the space became open and light–creating a relaxing space for a growing family. Vancouver Interior Designer, Reisa Pollard strived to create a functional yet trendy home for this young family. The clients were beyond happy and are thrilled at what Beyond Beige Interior Design did for their growing family.
