Modern in Mount Seymour

Modern in Mount Seymour is an architectural dream! This home renovation is located in North Vancouver. The clients purchased this home as a labor of love! The enticing attribute for the interior designers was the architecture. The oversized windows, vaulted ceilings, and post & beam construction added to the designers visions. The clients wanted the main floor in Modern in Mount Seymour to be opened as much as possible while retaining the large central floor to ceiling fireplace. That being said, they requested a second bedroom and bathroom on the main floor as well as the primary bedroom. With the home’s original bones being so unique, Beyond Beige Interior Design wanted to keep the architecture as a main design feature. Beyond Beige capitalizing on blending past designs with new to make the overall space cohesive. Furthermore, the team highlighted the post and beam ceiling by staining the beams dark while keeping the design details as minimal as possible. Flashy and bright, the yellow door gives a "wow!" factor right when you drive up to the home. Contrasting beautifully the yellow is throughout the house and gives a sense of balance to the whole space. The result is a stunning high contrast open space with a nod to mid century architecture. Vancouver Interior Designer, Reisa Pollard loved this home so much that she even dressed to match the patterns and colors. This home does not just inspire the design world but also influences personal style!
