Big Bang on Blenheim is luxury interior design in Vancouver, BC. The Client was ‘downsizing’ despite having young kids. They were building a home half the size to accommodate their needs and be near their children's school. Furthermore, they enlisted Beyond Beige Interior Design to create a space with exceptional storage solutions and high efficiency areas to retain the livability they had in their previous large home. Big Bang on Blenheim was designed with extravagant furniture and glamourous decor. Every room is a work of art and has different unique features. Adding to the complexity of this grand project, the biggest challenge was that the back entrance led right into the kitchen (which was open to the dining room). Originally, the plans in Big Bang on Blenheim had a wok kitchen, but this left no area for a mud room. Evidently, the team put everything required in the main kitchen and made the wok kitchen smaller to accommodate mudroom features.

Overall, Beyond Beige Interior Design took inspiration from New York townhomes, the client’s favorite destination. This resulted in blending old architectural details with oversized ornate crown with new cabinetry designs. Perfect for the clients vision! Vancouver Interior Designer, Reisa Pollard really went full out for this masterpiece of a new build and created a fun and dynamic environment for the family. The final outcome was full of eye candy and pizzazz - colorful, bright, unique and playful.
