A 16,000 SQUARE-FOOT MASTERPIECE | SURREY, BC

Tremendous on 26th

"Tremendous on 26th" is a monumental six-year project that has captured significant curiosity due to its sheer scale and the unique lifestyle it accommodates. Designed as a comprehensive sanctuary for an overseas family, this 16,000-square-foot home integrates a vast array of highly specialized interests under one roof. From a formal ballroom and performance-ready media room to dedicated spaces for fencingand Tai-Chi, every square foot was intentionally crafted to support the family’s diverse passions.

The primary architectural challenge was mastering the sense of scale; a standard fireplace or light fixture would appear like a "postage stamp" in these expansive rooms, requiring every feature to be custom-sized to maintain visual balance. Beyond the nine bedrooms and thirteen bathrooms, the home features an extensive wellness wing, complete with an indoor pool, sauna, and steam room, as well as a full library and specialized craft rooms for the children.

Infusing the design with good Feng Shui was a critical priority, necessitating the redesign of key architectural elements. We adjusted doorway placements and integrated strategic water features to optimize energy flow throughout the residence. The result is a home that, despite its massive footprint, feels harmonious and perfectly tailored to the family’s spiritual and functional needs.
