Casual Elegance in Egemont

Located in the charming neighborhood of Edgemont in Vancouver, BC, "Casual Elegance in Edgemont" is a masterclass in downsizing without compromising on warmth or functionality. Transitioning from a large single-family house to a ground-level condo, the empty-nester clients sought a more manageable footprint. However, they found the condo's existing contemporary architecture too cold and uninviting. They enlisted our interior design company in Vancouver to transform the sterile environment into a comfortable, welcoming sanctuary capable of hosting their growing family and grandchildren for special occasions.

To counteract the coldness of the original space, we introduced a sophisticated blend of warmer material tones and refined coastal farmhouse details. The floor plan was reimagined into a highly functional open-concept layout, perfectly tailored to support the clients' passion for cooking and effortless entertaining. We also integrated a versatile new dining space and an efficient, dedicated home office workspace, ensuring every square foot serves a distinct, practical purpose.

Because downsizing inherently requires exceptional organization, maximizing storage was a critical priority. We designed and installed bespoke custom millwork throughout every room to eliminate clutter and maintain a pristine, airy aesthetic. Led by top Vancouver interior designer Reisa Pollard, the final result is a pinnacle of approachable luxury interior design in Vancouver—a spacious, highly functional, and deeply inviting "home sweet home" tailored for the next beautiful chapter of family life.
