Located in Vancouver, BC, "Saint George Gem" is a classic new build designed to prove that high-end, family-friendly modernism can be achieved even within a tight build budget. The vision was to create a functional, open-concept sanctuary that prioritizes daily usability without sacrificing unique, designer details. By utilizing a crisp white primary palette grounded by dark hardwood floors and dark-framed windows, Beyond Beige Interior Design established a timeless foundation that feels both spacious and sophisticated.

Maximizing every inch of the floor plan was essential for this project. We transformed potentially awkward areas into high-value zones, such as the addition of a sleek coffee bar and butler’s pantry tucked between the kitchen and dining room to create a dedicated space for relaxation. To further expand the living area, a large Nana Wall was integrated into the kitchen and family room, creating a seamless connection to the outdoor patio and effectively blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living.

While the home’s main areas are defined by clean lines and neutral tones, we introduced vibrant hints of blue and dramatic textures in private spaces to add character. A standout feature is the powder room, where ombre wallpaper provides a dramatic backdrop for a custom-integrated concrete sink. This careful balance of practical space planning and bold accents, led by Reisa Pollard, resulted in a comfortable, vibrant home that perfectly serves the needs of both family life and guest entertaining.
